Put that thing back in your mouth

Turowski Visit

The beginning of December was very exciting because the Turowski Family came all the way to Seattle just to meet Jacquelyn.  We had an exciting weekend full of laughs and sightseeing. Since we have been friends for so long it we got a good laugh over how the dynamic of our trips together have changed over the years.  No more late nights, and we did not dare miss a nap time.

Our first adventure was to the Seattle Aquarium.  Jacquelyn was completely uninterested and slept through the entire thing but it was a lot of fun watching Colin take it all in.

Picture of the Aquarium taken from Pike Place Market.
The Aquarium had a great deck outside that made the perfect background for pictures. (see below)

Me and my better half.  Kelly I miss you.

Notice Jacquelyn is still sleeping.

Yes Mom I made this hat.

Mark and I took Jacquelyn on her first Merry Go Round.  She loved it.

The above mentioned ginger bread houses.

Looking at these pictures makes me crave something sweet.

You could vote on your favorite but they were all so beautiful and detailed it was hard to choose which one we liked best.  These were truly edible works of art.

The next morning we spent some time down at the market.

Then it was off to the Seattle Center and Space Needle for more holiday fun and an exciting ride on the monorail.

Great kid friendly dinner at Johnny Rockets.

Who need a little red wagon when you have a little red cooler with wheels.

We had a wonderful weekend with Scott, Kelly, and Colin.  I can't wait for our next adventure together.

Thanksgiving

In November we spent a wonderful Thanksgiving in San Jose.  Our gracious hosts Dan and Jan were so wonderful to open up their home to us.  Jan prepared a wonderful meal and an amazing pumpkin bread pudding that I am still dreaming about.  Thank you for everything.

It was wonderful to spend so much time with family.  Jacquelyn loved showing off some of her favorite outfits.

The Nanny

While I had to travel for work my father was nice enough to use some of his vacation time to come up to Seattle to help Mark with Jacquelyn.  Thanks Dad for stepping in as our Nanny.  Jacquelyn had so much fun spending time with her Giddee the last few months.  Here are a few pictures from their time together in November.

New Year's Resolution: FAIL!

I had big hopes of starting off the new year right with many many posts.  Sorry for what Megan called an "EPIC FAIL."  Good news is I have 11 more months to make up for lost time and redeeming myself.  Enjoy catching up on the end of our 2009.
