Wedding Bells will be Ringing...

for Megan and Aaron.  Congratulations to these two who got engaged Saturday, March 13th, at Enchanted Rock outside of Austin, Texas.  In  celebration of their new engagement Aaron planned a surprise brunch for Megan and included our family.  I was so happy and excited to be included in their special day and was able to capture a few of the moments from Brunch with my camera.  (For those of you who are wondering who Megan, pronounced Maaaaygan, is my first cousin and was Maid of Honor in my wedding, you might also recognize her as the cute blond from some of my previous posts)

On Sunday, March 14th, Aaron planned a nice brunch at this delicious restaurant called Z Tejas.  There were around 30 of there anxious to greet the Happy Couple so we all got their early in an effort to surprise Megan since she was unaware of what was planned.

Aaron's Aunt preparing for the morning's festivities.  She did a great job putting everything together.

Brunch was scheduled for 10 am.  We all arrived early in anticipation of surprising Megan.  So 10:00 am came and we waited, and watied and waited some more.  Megan, in an effort to be very caring and considerate of Aaron, turned off his alarm because she thought he needed more sleep.  So those two finally woke up around 11:15 am and fantically race over to the restaurant because Aaron finally told her that his family had be waiting on them.  What she did not realize was that some of her family was waiting on them too.

Megan was so excited, surprised and overcome with joy it took her a good 10 minute to compose herself to speak and say hi to everyone.  So after the future Mr. and Mrs. Blick finally arrived and we enjoyed a wonderful Brunch and celebration of their Love and Happiness.

Excited Cousins!  (I don't think Megan will ever leave the house again without her hair and make-up perfect because you never know who you might run into.)

Congratulations again Megan and Aaron!  Mark and I are excited to welcome another Aggie into the family and we wish you two a lifetime full of Happiness.

This will be Mark's favorite baby item... I just know it!

"Is a sweet child o' yours trying your patience at bedtime? Do you have an appetite for noise reduction? Don't you cry tonight. Fire up these gentle renditions of GNR's metal classics to rock your little devil to a peaceful sleep. Welcome to the nursery, baby. It's paradise city."

I came across this lullaby cd today at lonestarbaby.com and will say that it is the perfect gift for Baby Eaton, that is if Mark does not steal it first.  So with the intent of these metal classics to lull Baby Eaton to sleep, this cd might be putting Mark to sleep instead.

New Poll - We would love your Feedback

Mark and I are preparing for the ultimate surprise as we prepare over the next few months for the arrival of our baby.  We are not going to find out the sex of the baby so our life is full of all things gender neutral.  As many of you can tell from the ultrasound post below Mark knows, feels it all the way down in his toes, that Baby Eaton is going to be a boy.  Mark and I would love to hear your opinions so we have created this poll in the right hand column.  Please let us know what you think Baby Eaton is made of.

We can't wait to see the results!

Favorite Picture this Winter Season

Mark and his amazing photography skills with his iPhone captured this picture just after the big Christmas snow storm in Dallas/Ft Worth up at the farm down by the lake.

Great Fuel Economy

Times are tough financially these days for a lot of people.  Some save money by eating at home more, brown bagging lunch, avoiding ATM fees, and so on.  Another way to save is buy carpooling or driving something more fuel efficient.

On our way to the farm we snapped this picture of someone who is saving some serious cash as he drove this fuel efficient but unsafe vehicle in the RAIN.

**Sorry  for my lame commentary, I am sure Mark would have done the picture much better justice.  He can change it when he notices that something is posted on here.  **
