With the whirlwind that was the first five months of pregnancy it was quite a few places. Now, if only this map could show you how many times we were in some of these locations.

Bump On The Road
As Mark and I prepare over the next 94 days for our new arrival we often day dream of the places he/she will go and the great and exciting things he/she will do. So we thought it would be a good idea to put together a map to show Baby Eaton all the places he/she has already been. I hope it is always this easy to travel with a baby.

The iPad has arrived!
After I long month of waiting, my iPad finally arrived! In fact, this blog post is being typed on the iPad for the very first time. I'm still getting use to the virtual keyboard so please excuse any misspelled words. Now, for the most important question? Was it worth the wait (and $$$)? Yes! Some people, including my brother and Rachel, will say it is nothing more than a big iPod touch. To me, their opinion is short sighted. Yes, the are some application such as the iPod player and pandora that make the iPad seem like over kill. But the iPad specific apps really show off what the ipad can do l. So far I've only messed with the abc, netflix, and weather channel apps but I'm very impressed. The screen resolution and colors are a dream and navigating the iPad is very intuitive. Even if I didn't already own a iPhone I would say it's very easy to use.......Stayed tuned there is more to come as i try to figure how to run my entire life via the ipad
Now that the ipad is here I can focus on more important things such as my baby who's due in late August. I had a feeling Rachel was getting worried because all I could talk about was the iPad.

Guns N Roses - Dream Fulfilled
Many of us have dreams as children, some dreams are forgotten and others we spend our whole lives determined to achieve. One dream Mark was determined to achieve was to see Guns N Roses play live in concert. To you this might not seem like a difficult dream to accomplish but after numerous failed attempts to chase Axel Rose around the country and a long hiatus away from the music industry spot light, it took longer than expected. And I must say it was well worth the wait.
We were able to make a big trip of it and flew into Buffalo, NY to start our adventure and made a quick stop at Niagara Falls before heading into Toronto for a nice visit with Mark’s family.
We have some serious catching up to do!
With only 136 days until Baby Eaton's estimated arrival I thought now would be a good time to sit down and catch up on all of my very overdue blogging. So I apologize if some go back a few months of maybe even a few years. I will try to keep them short and sweet but those of you who know me well know I tell the worst stories that tend to go on and on and on and only end when I forget what I was talking about originally.
So now is my last chance to catch you up on the exciting (and sometimes not so exciting) lives of Mark and Rachel before we were plus one.

Wedding Bells will be Ringing...
for Megan and Aaron. Congratulations to these two who got engaged Saturday, March 13th, at Enchanted Rock outside of Austin, Texas. In celebration of their new engagement Aaron planned a surprise brunch for Megan and included our family. I was so happy and excited to be included in their special day and was able to capture a few of the moments from Brunch with my camera. (For those of you who are wondering who Megan, pronounced Maaaaygan, is my first cousin and was Maid of Honor in my wedding, you might also recognize her as the cute blond from some of my previous posts)
On Sunday, March 14th, Aaron planned a nice brunch at this delicious restaurant called Z Tejas. There were around 30 of there anxious to greet the Happy Couple so we all got their early in an effort to surprise Megan since she was unaware of what was planned.

Aaron's Aunt preparing for the morning's festivities. She did a great job putting everything together.
Brunch was scheduled for 10 am. We all arrived early in anticipation of surprising Megan. So 10:00 am came and we waited, and watied and waited some more. Megan, in an effort to be very caring and considerate of Aaron, turned off his alarm because she thought he needed more sleep. So those two finally woke up around 11:15 am and fantically race over to the restaurant because Aaron finally told her that his family had be waiting on them. What she did not realize was that some of her family was waiting on them too.
Megan was so excited, surprised and overcome with joy it took her a good 10 minute to compose herself to speak and say hi to everyone. So after the future Mr. and Mrs. Blick finally arrived and we enjoyed a wonderful Brunch and celebration of their Love and Happiness.

Excited Cousins! (I don't think Megan will ever leave the house again without her hair and make-up perfect because you never know who you might run into.)
Congratulations again Megan and Aaron! Mark and I are excited to welcome another Aggie into the family and we wish you two a lifetime full of Happiness.

This will be Mark's favorite baby item... I just know it!
"Is a sweet child o' yours trying your patience at bedtime? Do you have an appetite for noise reduction? Don't you cry tonight. Fire up these gentle renditions of GNR's metal classics to rock your little devil to a peaceful sleep. Welcome to the nursery, baby. It's paradise city."
I came across this lullaby cd today at lonestarbaby.com and will say that it is the perfect gift for Baby Eaton, that is if Mark does not steal it first. So with the intent of these metal classics to lull Baby Eaton to sleep, this cd might be putting Mark to sleep instead.

New Poll - We would love your Feedback
Mark and I are preparing for the ultimate surprise as we prepare over the next few months for the arrival of our baby. We are not going to find out the sex of the baby so our life is full of all things gender neutral. As many of you can tell from the ultrasound post below Mark knows, feels it all the way down in his toes, that Baby Eaton is going to be a boy. Mark and I would love to hear your opinions so we have created this poll in the right hand column. Please let us know what you think Baby Eaton is made of.
We can't wait to see the results!
