When You Fail to Plan, You Plan to Fail

"Made it to Chicago, got lost in the train system (thanks to Mark's inability to plan ahead), got yelled at by the cab a driver, learned my husband has no idea how to tip (we are talking way to much here - he is going put some cab driver's kids through med school and us in the poor house with his tipping), and finally made it to the hotel.

Our trip to Chicago was amazing and Mark and I had a wonderful time. However the first 45 minutes were a little rocky. I sent this out in a fit of frustration to my mom and my best friends. Immediately after blowing off steam I felt better and we had an amazing time. Now its time to unpack, upload photos and make more posts. "Stay tuned, more to come."

Google has done it again...

I must say every google application I use I absolutely love. Today was I was playing with Google's Picasa 3 I noticed the collage feature and boy am I excited. It is super easy to use and it makes me look like I actually know what I am doing with regards to formatting digital photography. So yes I plan on using and abusing this feature on this blog. Great ready for Collage overload. To start you off here are a few I created while playing around.

First, to my mother, I would like to apologize for my language if you are reading this but there is truly no other way to express how I feel.

Survey Says.....

Thank you to all of our friends and family who participated in our "Where Should We Live?" Survey. The survey results are in and Mark and I have finally made a decision. So now for the big announcement.

We have taken your advice and we are moving to Fort Worth ........ eventually. But for now I will be moving to Wichita to finally live with my husband after being apart for 7 long years. Goodbye Houston! Its been a good run but its time to move on and for Mark and I begin the rest of our life.

Why do all free blog backgrounds look like myspace pages for 12 year olds?

I have officially reached the end of the internet in search of a decent free blog background. I have seen the cute, the ugly, the girly, the sparkly, but none good for a blog co-authored by a husband and wife. Maybe that is because Mark wants barb wire and I am more of a damask traditional style. If only there was a happy medium.

So as I continue my search for something acceptable or figure out how to operate some type of graphic editing software please enjoy the absolutely boring dark gray background.
